HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM! I KNOW YOU ARE WITH ME IN SPIRIT IF NOT IN BODY!
Simply wonderful.
ReplyDeleteShe was beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love to think about my ancestors. My grandma just died--she was 92, exactly sixty years older than me. There was something special about her generation. They worked hard and had spirit that people of my generation don't understand. Some of us are aware of it, and some of us are not. I think those of us who consider it, carry a legacy. I wrote a post about my grandmother after she passed away. I wasn't sure if it would make my readers uncomfortable, but I'm glad I did it because when I look back someday, it will be important to me to have.
Anyway, beautiful post. I love the newspaper clippings and photographs. They're magical.
