Red Letter Day for First Tee of Central Arkansas

George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States
First Tee of Central Arkansas, May 27, 2011
Celebrating TEN years!  ...and Chuck has been a part of it for nine of those years!  What an accomplishment!  I am so proud that he has been able to "do" his "passion"!   He is teaching kids and adults GOLF...that would be "the" passion.  In fact, he is teaching me, too.

Now, for the big, big news!  Ta-Da!  President George W. Bush was invited to honor the day. . . He accepted.

What a great day for the First Tee of Central Arkansas.

The Course and the clubhouse looked great.

A garden was planted in honor of the biggest local supporter, Warren Stephens.  First Tee was his father's vision and he has carried on the tradition.  It is now up to the community to keep it going.  When a former President of the United States shows up to honor the day, it "jump starts" the effort to involve the community in its support of the First Tee of Central Arkansas.
